My name is Stefani and I’m a bakeaholic.

My obsession began at the ripe old age of 6 when I decided that I was going to bake my dad a banana bread. And it turned out delicious - or a least that’s what he told me!

Now almost twenty years later I am still finding any excuse that I can to bake - birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, Tuesdays, because the weather’s turning warm, because the weather’s turning cold, etc, etc, etc.

I married my Hubby, Alex, in 2007, but he’s not really a big fan of sweets (I’ll never understand how our relationship was able to blossom to what it is now). But, Alex loves cooking and I hate cooking, so I guess that was enough to outweigh his sweet-abhorrence. Hubby puts up with my ever-growing cookbook collection, takes some of the photos for my blog, and post processes as many of the photos as he can.

I live in a tiny one-bedroom apartment in Georgia, and have gotten quite clever at storage solutions since anything I add to my baking collection has to fit into my designated cabinet. It’s starting to get pretty crowded in there, especially since my sister gave me a KitchenAid mixer for my 24th birthday!

I use a point-and-shoot Sony Cyber-shot camera and a desk lamp for the lighting. We hope to eventually get a DSLR and buy a house with good lighting (note to self: skylights in kitchen required).
